Phat Boyz Auto in Perry sprayed it.850-584-5422 (http://www.merchantcircle.com/business/Phat.Boyz.Auto.Paint.And.Body.850-584-5422)

They did an EXCELLENT job. Dropped it off Monday night, picked it up Wednesday evening. Very, very pleased. It was going to be $250.00 but I had him do some extra body work I couldn't do so he charged me $300.00 even.

I'm disappointed in some of MY body work.. You can see a few of the things I worked on. I think the vast majority of people won't ever notice :) But damnit, I did it myself and that has to be worth something. I busted my a$$ fixing the lil dents and shaving the side moldings. All in all, even though a couple didn't turn out how I wanted em to, I still didn't do too bad!

Hoooray for me!

Some before's and afters:

Slightly better me thinks!

This will cover the over spray on the front.

looks like sh*t. Did the shop ever hear about sanding and buffing before the car leaves?

What is everyones problem? They think they are getting a "good deal" on paint and it always turns out like garbage. Did they remove the bumper or just paint the shell?

For 300 I doubt any shop would wetsand and buff and take bumpers off.

But they could have def. masked up better, look at all that overspray in the radiator/horns/wheel wells.

But you def. should wet sand and buff the car, just get some 1500 and wet sand her down (with a block) and then get a yellow foam cutting pad and buff her out with rubbing compound, then a black foam pad and polish her.

Looks good and a damn good deal too.

Dude, it's a $300.00 paintjob. What are you expecting? For the price, not having any runs and the fact my car doesn't look like crap now? Heck yes, I"m happy.

And I know a lil wetsanding and buffing will fix it all up, so I'm not worried :)

Sorry, but it's still far from looking good. A wetsand and buff isn't going to fix that poor of a job, especially the massive amount of overspray.

But hey, you get what you pay for.
