Yep. Although, I wouldn't recommend it. Most likely so many cars will be running = not a lot of track time. It would be waste for me to tow something all the way there for a few hot laps

It would pass, has working lights, has lights and DOT tires and has never won a race. It's a track car though. You don't go pick up the dog food in the I.P car in New Orleans. Sparky can't climb over the cage to get in and neither can 81 year old grandma.

One persons dd doesn't have to be the same as someone elses dd... Some people could care less about the creature comforts, and would rather have something radical on the street... I for one like seeing cars that don't fit the cookie cutter image. Maybe its just me but I like crawling over door bars and loud exhaust on the street...

i say there should be different classes. All must be driven there on the street. Must run on DOT tires (even a DOT-R is legal). and pretty much everything else goes.

a street car is any car that CAN be driven on the street. i.e. street legal. the end. in some peoples case, thats closer to a full blown race car than others, but if they want to sacrifice creature comforts etc. they can.

if someone wants to bitch and say "hes faster because he has no interior and a cage", let them. their car could be built the same way but THEY CHOOSE NOT TO.

its just over a hour away from arbor imports 78miles. there is a hour difference in time zones soo... yeah our 830 is there 730 and their 800 track opening and 830 start is 9am and 930am here... if we leave arbor place around 7 am that should give us 2 hour to get to there by 8 when the track opens. we really can leave close to 8am from arbor and still get there by 830... that whole time zone thing is great.

But it is still no where near the 58.9 the time attack car runs, but I figure bringing that car would be like stealing candy from a baby.

My car's timing chain rail broke, also my woodruff key in the crank... I took apart one of the S50 back-up motors I have, but the guide rail is different; Also called all BMW dealer in ATL and no one have it in stock... so long story short cant go....

This was an awesome event, everyone was nice, and helpful and I have never had so much fun at a car event. Thanks to the sponsors and organizers this made me holidays for sure.

Oh and to the black SRT 8 charger how did it feel to get owned by a stock motor POS s13 that shot fireballs at you as i flew by LOL

Ron, don't forget the smoke too. lol I had a good time even though I was only instructing and didn't bring my E30. Next year I'll make sure to register in time and rock out. Saw some fast cars out there and a few fast drivers as well. Hopefully some of the fast cars will find fast drivers, some more experience and some of the people I saw could be pretty good.

It was a older man. It was just a pullied up Eaton with full coil overs and sticky tires.

Ahh man. I really want to try to run with you, you were driving good. Ya that 944 couldn't drive to good and it really wasn't all that fast in the straights either. I was just a bit slower in the straights and my car is pretty slow. I guess he let me by cause my car looks fast... hurray!
