I am looking to get a motorcycle toward the end of the year. Was thinking about a new Honda VLX (600) cruiser. Just wondering where can I find info on mpg's for different bikes. I'm willing to consider other manufactures besides Honda. Just can't find any gas numbers on the bikes.

Thanks for any help!!

PS <> Any good motorcylce forums that may help?

Ninja 250 probably has the best gas mileage.

yeah ninja250 but the engine will be pretty busy crusing at 70+ on the freeway

i say ninja500-then gear it really TALL. My SV got about 60 mpg stock so an ex500 with tall gearing would probably get 70+ mpg

^yeah-well thats why i said stock-lol-after full exhaust jetted carbs and K&N and lower gearing it got like 40mpg or less

my Dad got 372 mpg in the ealy 80's for Graig Vetters high mileage contest
