Concentrate on your focal points with your camera. Also, how are you PProcessing? Are you cropping these photos at all? It wouldnt hurt to bring up the exposure just a tad bit and run an unsharp mask.

BUT, when doing a car and wanting only the CAR, tell him to roll his window up or put his arm in. Doppelgänger (member.php?u=1944) had some pics like this with his windshield being reflective and keeping the focus on the car.

im not doing very much PProcessing at all. ive been having trouble with my old version of Photoshop and dont want to shell out the money for the new one yet. i am croping them but im only using a very basic editing program on my mac.
thanks for the tips tho george, like the title says these are my first set of rolling shots. they will get better with time.

Like Nemesis said, a tad brighter. I would also suggest trying to get better lighting on the front of the car. It looks like most of the shots have the sun behind the car.

on a nikon d40, what setting should i use to try taking some rolling shot's? should i use the M-S-P or A? i want to practice some of these shot's.

not sure about the nikons, might want to ask Kevin ( bandy design) i think he uses a nikon. i dont remember the setting i had it on when i took these. normally i dont go below 1/60 on day shots. once you go below that its hard to get clear pics. got to have a steady hand. hard to hold the camera still when riding in the back of a truck lol
