This past friday, I was out kicking it with my boy JDMJAYDC2. It was late, so rather than going home, I decided to stay at his crib. So after going in and chilling for a few minutes, I heard my alarm go off for no reason. We didn't think much of it (since my alarm goes off alot because of it's sensitivity), and looked out the window to check up on it. Cool we didn't see anything. So we went to sleep..... Early Saturday morning, I got up to get ready to leave. I looked out the window and notice his gas tank lid was popped. I didn't think much of it at the time (I though he was just slipping), and left. A few hours later, he calls me telling me his car got broken into (his alarm was set and all) and they wiped him clean. :2up: (we think they might of hit up his car then went for mines) It's not a complete lost, since he still has his car, but it the principal of it. So keep keep an eye on your rides people, because the punks are definitely watching you at all times. Just for the record, the car is an Acura Integra and I won't post the area.

Hmm, just by looking at one of his posts, Im going to guess he lives in..... College Park...? Since thats what his location says.
Doesnt help if you dont post the area. We all know to be on the lookout all throughout the Atlanta area, but specific areas help. You should also post up what parts were stolen, so we can keep on the lookout for the parts and let you or him know if we see them for sale anywhere......

Isn't this like me saying, "my house was robbed... There have been several houses robbed in the area in the past week... Location somewhere in the continental 48 states"

It doesn't matter what area it is.
As long as you're driving a Honda, you need to watch your ride.

Thank god I dont drive a Honda.
But man, nowadays, you gotta watch your shiit no matter what you drive. I have lived in this aparment complex for over a year and a half now, and in that time I have owned a dsm, gvr4, 3 hondas and my current ride. No one messed with the Hondas. My GVR4 was broken into and **** was stolen, and my current car was keyed and tires were flattened. They tried getting into the car, but it was locked and its a little harder to get into this over anything Ive owned.
So its not just Honda anymore, its basically anything nice that you own.

Damn! I'm sorry to hear that for Jermaine! What did they get from him? College Park isn't the safest of area either....I always go check/look outside if I hear the slightest noise. Someone got into my gf's and my cars this past Xmas. Got about $300 from my girl, so now I'm extra paranoid. lol

It wasn't college park, since he moved. I'm not broadcasting his location, since he already got his car broken into once and we don't need anyone else looking for his car. I basically made this thread just tell everyone to keep an eye on your ****, because **** can happen to you even you take the extra precautions.

All you had to do was just make the thread instead of calling Jermaine's name out in it. If you didn't want anyone to know anything about him, it would have been better to not mention him at all. See where I'm at? Later, QD.

Wait... if his car was already broken into...
so are you posting to...
a) Warn others of a immediate theft threat in an area
b) Simply explain what happened
c) Start a discussion of how theft is a real threat
???
if you answered A then we need location information.
What is the risk after the fact? I mean, if this guy hops on IA and notices that it is him being talked about he will probably switch up locations anyways.

here is the lowdown car is still complete as they were not trying to steal it just get my stero basically they got my alpine premier cd player, panasonic 7in. flip out dvd player,my ipod classic that was in the glove box, my dell laptop, and my sony quickshot 7mega pixel camera. police basically did nothing as usual i do know that it is someone in my neighborhood as i found my now faceless cd player in our dumpster i made sure to jump in and grab it with gloves to hand over to the cops for fingerprinting. the ipod and laptop i could care less for as they are easily replaced. i just wanted my cam as it had some new pics on there that i took of fam that i dont see very often. True i should have never left my laptop and cam in my bookbag in my trunk with the seats up to block it but as bigdare posted we were out late and i figured i would just grab it in the morning. The integra is now at a local audio shop having the security stepped up even further. i also have learned a valuable lesson to now jump up with socket wrench in hand next time i hear a alarm go off. im also having some cameras installed from my balcony facing the car so if you are reading this please please try my hatch next time as i have made measures to catch your lil high school ass next time and best believe im not gonna call the cops right away.

I don't drive a Honda I drive an Acura
That's why I hate setting alarm sensitivity too high. Makes you think it's nothing.
