well my headliner was falling on me and i was going to take it to get it re-done but then decided to do it my self , save some money and yeah here it is before and after ,

headliner done in suede :D
and random parts in red black plad. :crazy:

was going to do a how to write up but it got nasty when i started taking things apart....

Is your interior mounted in your bedroom or in an office somewhere? Or is it mounted in your car? If it's in your car, then yes, it would be car pics material. CAR PICS is exclusive to outside shots. It's anything cars. Later, QD.

yeah thanks :goodjob: yeah after that i put this in 2 weeks ago a friend told me the red on the front pillars was going to fade into pink :eek: so i might just black out the whole inside

Where did u get ur suede at? I bought mine over the net but they didnt have a big enough piece for me.

well the suede i got at Le Anns crafts store. bougth like 3 yards i think since the headliner of the jetta is not that big it fit right. hard part was working the contour shapes of the handles and sun visor areas since suede wont really strech...

The plaid looks like someone's boxers. I understand the plaid fixation in VWs but I think this sort of missed the mark.

you should have done a khaki plaid instead of the red flannel look... it would have looked great with the visors/handles etc., and it owuld have looked even better with the suede..

i think it was around 22 per yard pretty good chunk too. ill find the receipt for actual cost of materials. :goodjob: what did you use as adhesive?

yeah i can see that , im liking the cleam plaid , might switch it , it would deff match more with the tan parts :goodjob: and i had no choice not much to choose from it was what i got or dotted :eek: thanks for the idea though
