View Full Version : ***Cam plug replacement*** HELP!

Im trying to replace the cam plug on my b16 and i have the valve cover off and the bolts above the where the seal goes but im lost now! I sure its simple but can't figure it out. HELP!!! Thanks in advance!

Should be pretty simple. Obce you remove the vc, then remove the two bolts from the cap which holds down the end of the cam/seal, then wiggle the cap loose. I had to bump mine with a wood handle from a hammer to get mine loose. Once loose, remove the cap, take out the old seal, replace with new seal and put that shia back together

yea man, get like a rubber mallet and bump it a few times and wiggle/pull on the cap until it comes off. Pretty easy bro!

No one ever remembers that you need to take off the "rail" before it comes off!!! But the job is done!!! Thanks guys!
