That's terrible. I would have beaten the shop owner to death with that POS work he did. With the wood screws still in.

:screwy:
:lmfao: It's not hard when you do it that way... But it is hard to get repeat business.
Wow, when I went to college for this, my teacher would have killed me if I would have ever even mentioned doing that to a car... Wouldn't have mattered if it was a pinto or a geo metro... There's no good excuse for that.

Now Nemesis, don't kid yourself... You know for a fact, that Rockstar would've been too lazy to use that many screws. :lmfao:

Apparently that guy also ruined two of YokataS13's cars after he flew him from California to Japan to paint them (from what I have read).

He got what he payed for.
If he can afford to drive a 350z and mods then why could he not have taken it to a reputable shop? Who cares if it was going to be maybe a grand more or maybe even more then a grand. At least, you know when you get the car back that there will be no issues like this.

What's sad is that they used f*cking wood screws. Lolz....
It's sad how they can call themselves a shop when they do work like that.
This store "Rockstar" that everyone keeps on talking bout, Is it like the worst shop you can take your car to do bodywork for?

Yes, picture that car in the link, but with half as many screws (they are lazy like that) and thats them. I guess if you like orange peel goto rockstar, other wise..... Check out this link. http://www.monsterguide.net/how-to-paint-a-car.shtml You can do it your self better and cheaper!

I hope you're wrong about this.
Another instance was with someone in Japan. He liked Mike's good work so he paid for a plane ticket to paint two of his cars in Japan. 2 weeks later, Mike finishes and takes off back home. The guy in Japan finds a lot of things wrong with the cars and to make a long story short, he sold the parts in the cars and scrapped them. He demanded a refund of the plane ticket and labor. Mike has only paid him back about 500 to this day. This happened earlier this year.
Some other stuff is posted throughout the thread, pics of the car on page 22.

$750 - $500 in supplies and overhead = $250 = a good three days of hard labor.
That looks like anything but that.

Um did the guy even do research on the shop or on different shops. That just seems very dumb to me, I would ask to see the shops work before I chose them.
