First off let me say i've never had a bad transaction over IA which is a very good thing. Everything i've ever purchased from sellers has been in the condition as described and if there WERE any defects I was notified of it- And that I do appreciate so thank you to all the people i've dealt with.

Now I am not one to judge ones character so I wont bash this guy or anything of the likes- HOWEVER in my wtb post i posted up for a starter and got several replies. Eventually I recieved a message from Teg_Qbanita saying he had a starter for $20 and he lived relatively close so it seemed like a win win situation great price and close!

Met up with the guy on wednesday night and purchased the starter, sat around chit chatted for awhile and he seemed like a pretty cool person. Well immediately afterwards I went home to put the starter on, got done and low and behold it didn't work. I figured maybe I did something wrong (considering there's only two plugs on the starter it's hard to f up lol). Checked it several times. Did a little searching and posting on honda-tech to see if anybody would know why it didn't work and I didn't get too many responses that helped. Well I took it to advance auto and had them test it and the starter gear itself is jammed. Yesterday Chris (Teg_Qbanita) said that he would talk to his friend and let me know something. Didn't hear anything back from him regarding it except "he's got one and i'm going to see if he'll let me get it"

Sent him 2 text messages today and got no response so i called. Told him i'd like to meet back up and swap the two back out cash for starter, says someone test drove his car and messed up some part on it. I told him i'd drive to him to which he replied "well i don't have the $20 and it'll be next week i can give it to you when i get paid"

I told him he can keep the $20 but I will be posting up on IA, so people check your parts and who you buy them from to make sure they work.

By the way he also stated when asked why did you remove it "i took it off because i thought it was the starter so i bought a new one and it ended up being the ignition so i just kept the new starter so i figured it worked...NOT.

I believe that all BIG WORM was saying is that he could of checked the starter to make sure that the solenoid was working before even giving the guy the money, but there's always the benefit of the doubt :thinking: I'm not defending the accused, but there could of been some possibility that he didn't know, that's where you come in and test and check what you're purchasing before you leave.


Now if he did it with the full intent of shading his fellow man, then by all means warn others.

Since,no one will listen to me. ill say it again. Few months back i traded him my stock 1995 honda civic for his 1990 JDM (lol) Integra..it was all cool and shit. We met up,he tells me nothin is wrong with the car. aight im stupid enough to believe his shady ass. Well i tell him get me a emmiisons paper and ill trade. he calls me and tells me "im in alpaharetta getting a emmisions" ..im lke aight cool..we meet up at Walgreens in Lawrenceville. We trade. 2 weeks later, i try to register the car and i hand the emmisons paper and 3 officers walk in and hang coff my dad..im like WTF is going on..the emmisions paper was a FRAUD emmisions..dude bought it..guy he bought it from was stupid enough to just put acura integra on the paper from another emiisions from a 04 altima..and yo luis..who bailed your emmiisons buddy out? :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :2up: This dude...Luis.(Actaul name).. is shady as fuck. Dude has like 10 screen names on here. Sells fucked up cars and parts and uses different names all the time.
