this car with a stock ls1 had enough traction trouble. haha not to mention the nitrous, unfortunately I didnt get to experience that.

no FD is a sleeper, but yes, it does have clean stock lines.

calling an FD a sleeper is like calling a Viper a sleeper, and is that Nitrous i spy. but all in all it is still a bastardization of a car, the original motor is kick a$$ if you know what you are doing with them.

Tell that to all the guys on v8rx7forum who have converted after doing EVERYTHING (ALL the "maintenance mods") and still having the motor blow 1500 miles later.

edit: It's a fickle motor that has lasted a while on occasion, but also just as often inexplicably decides to let go whenever it wants.
Also, you can't fit a DOHC V8 in the FD bay. Shock towers are too narrow.

^^ My roommates FD didn't die out till 115k miles which he was really impressed with. But I do have to agree its all about how you treat them

Almost Any motor can make 1000 hp as long as you have deep pocket.

Thats not the point Here... .. You cant sit here and be negative about the LS1 motor when is one of the most impressive motors out there... that can hold hell and last long...

I used to own a mx 3 at one point... and read , heard alot of stories about KL's motors.. they suck..... if they were great or even remotely any good, there would be more out there.

Don't drive like a girl and never rev the piss out of it, then it will last! :goodjob: I have seen tons of FD's with high miles on origional motor. You have to drive them hard and high rpm's...they aren't babies.

WRONG you need to drive it for what it was designed for, not taking it up in the rpm range is asking to f*ck it up faster. gotta keep that carbon build up out.

LOL @ the Rotory debate.

It's cool and all, especially because it has nitrous and I LOVE nitrous. I personally wouldn't do it because I have a soft spot for rotory engines. I do like the LS1 though very much and would shove one into a junky S13 in a hot second with nitrous.

That's what I just said...wtf? :???:

EDIT: Due to the *'s it looks like I am saying not to rev it, it says don't drive like a girl and not rev it...meaning beat it to hell! :goodjob:
