When you say wheel spin pertained to both, that would only be the case if your car came with a LSD, posi, or spool.

The V6 mustang your car had, did not have any of those, therefore when it was spinning the rear "tires" it was only spinning the left or the right.... but never both at the same time. This is just another reason upgrading a v6 mustang, is a dumbass thing to do especially for straight line acceleration.
