Where the F-U-C-K is Premium?

Ok so I figured its 12 no one will be out getting gas....ya right, what the hell was I thinking. Well I didnt care, I just needed to fill up and get the **** home. So I started. I went up Five forks to sugarloaf. Took sugarloaf to HWY 316 then u-turned after seeing only regular at the QT there. Went down Old Norcross to riverside then down 120. Decided to ride that out into down town l'ville and then went down five forks again. I took sugarloaf down to hwy 124 and found another QT with regular but still no premium. SO i went to HWY 78 and turned towards logarville. Another QT with regular so I went down a little further busted another u-turn and went 78 towards stone mountain. Got all the way down there and nothing. Took lake lucern to five forks and then went home.

SO I started off with about 4 bars of gas. Now I have 1... think my plan backfired.


SOOOO... if you are looking for premium dont go where I did...also anyone know where I can find premium tonight?

You can run 87 in a S2K, just try not to go into VTEC until you find some 93 again. Or get some octane booster.

I had to go to 4 different gas stations today to get any gas AT ALL, and when I finally arrived at the 4th station all they had was regular and diesel.

This is BS. I drove around wasting a quarter tank of gas just LOOKING for gas.

octane booster only adds tenths of an octane. So if you get 89 octane and add a booster that is suppose to up it 3 octane points, you have successfully raised the octane too 89.3 Octane...

sucess well sorta if your on the southside of atlanta the qt on fulton industrial blvd has regular only i passed that up on my search for prem. and drove all the way to mableton to the racetrac on floyd rd or dr one of them but they only had reg. so rather than take my chances running out of gas at 5 am in this area i filled up with regular at 396 a gallon took about 40 bucks

Tank ful of 87 plus octane booster is like 87.3 octane. Waste of money.

No. It would be better to mix 87 and 89 compared to just octane booster. But still, find premium is the only real option.

Premium will get you better gas mileage overall and it makes the engine run better/last longer. I put premium in all the cars i drive.

The BP at I-285 and Buford Hwy had all 3 grades yesterday morning, but were out this morning. They are limiting sales to $20 at a time though. It's still good for bikes. I filled up my bike yesteray, and got the Mustang up to a half tank. Parked the Mustang though for now. Truck is cheaper on fuel and takes regular.

the pilot right off exit 129 going 85N always has gas. i filled up today for 3.85 a gallon. they have to keep the gas coming for truckers. so if you live in the braselton/winder area go there

Doesn't it damage the motor if it's lower compression? I was always told that engines ping with higher octane if the compression is lower.

I had no choice but to use 87oct on my WRX last night, 20 dollars worth. I'm using economy mode right now though, which allows me to use lower octane but at the same time makes my car run like complete sh*t. It's slow as balls and I'm scared it might f*ck something up in the future. Ugh, this whole no gas situation, is getting pretty insane.
