*-not sure what section to put this in, but i guess it cant go wrong in here.

anyways-so i bought the bike new in sig in late june, financed on a suzuki credit card for 5k. i now owe 3500. when i bought it, they mailed me a 'certificate of origin' with a stapled letter saying thats what i need to get the tag. so i got the tag at the office for it. now im ready for something bigger, and id like to sell it. i suppose its because i still owe on the suzuki credit card?

the interest is a ***** its my first purchase/first finance so i was like whatever.. ive been throwin $500+ a month at it. im about to start putting everything on my personal credit card(0 interest if i make the minimums) so i can use all my cash towards the bike.

what is the best process for selling it or getting the title? i considered trading it back to the dealer and getting a 08 gsxr600/750(that is what i want next)..anyone know what its worth with 2k miles and minor damage from 1 drop?

+3 or whatever im worth for any positive posting. thanks.

Its an '08 gs500F so you could prolly get around 6k'ish! Looks clean though... Some more detailed pic's would help!

Without the title you are screwed. Anyone who sees it will assume you have not paid it off which is why you can not get the title.

Again what is the reason why you can't get the title?

If you pay off your loan will suzuki then give you the title?

im assuming so, but not for certain since this is the first time ive financed anything. i got the registration/tag etc with the certificate of origin. it looked just like a title but the tag office kept it.

The lienholder which is the bank is holding the title. When you sell it, you need to notify your lending bank and let then know someone else will be paying off the balance. This is normal and they will be expecting it. The will then send YOU the title and you HAVE to forward it to the new owners.
