Usually people have been meeting up at the BP on pleasant hill or the Indian Trail park and ride, but this Saturday night Luby's bar and grill has invited everyone to hang out in their parking lot. Luby's is located right off the intersection of Herrington road and Old Norcross road. They encourage people to come down and hang out.
Do you know any FOR SURE cars that'll be there? I'm off Saturday and will come out if it is decent.

no offense, but drinking and nice cars don't really mix well. and even if you don't drink, others will be drinking which could lead to other bs. if you want to help promote your friends bar, then do so but don't try do it by organizing a car meet. go and spend some money and advertise the right way.

I don't drink but have no issue with casual drinking when people act responsible. On the other hand you will never find me at a bar driving anything must less something we have a lot of work and pride put in to.

the manager at the bar has invited, he asked me to put the word out. under the perfect scenario, people could grab something to eat and just hang out. typical parking lot meet. but, as stated, people might end up drinking. one of the things he would like to accomplish is by passers by seeing a large amount of cars in the parking lot so they might stop in. i will stop by tonight, but I am not sure how many others. i wont be drinking.... i did plenty of that last night.

ehh.... there's always the BP meet, then when it starts getting stupid, roll over to luby's, or meet up earlier.... i might head there to watch the UGA game

i've just seen too many damn idiots get stupid after a few beers. its just not worth the effort if you know what i mean. you want to look at the good scenario, i always think about the worst case scenario.. either way, good luck with the meet. hope it all goes well and no issues arise. :goodjob:

I agree with you in essence, but unless you're 120lb, nothing wrong with 1-2 beers.
If you don't know when to stop, you don't care about yourself and no one can help you.
Sat night sounds pretty good - and its not too far.

theyre pretty open for anything. i talked to the manager the other night and he told me to be honest.... you don't have to worry about too many people. the reason the would like us to hang out is because they are dead. cars in the parking lot can get people to stop by. now i dont know if ill be there tonight, might be busy.

no actually it an invitation to come amd hang out and not get hasseled by gcpd's finest a55holes. if you have a better idea then im sure everyone would love to hear it, hell i know i would but it is a pretty laid back environment and security doesnt let people drive drunk!!!! (its a liability to the bar)
