I live in Atlanta and love ATT. Never had issues.

I get ****ty reception where I live from T-Mobile, but I live in a hole basically. ATT will be better, but it's also more expensive. When I'm in Atlanta I get full reception everywhere.

Youll like it a lot. Trust me. I had the original on day one, then sold it for the 3G the release day. :D

been with Tmobile so long that it is too cheap to switch.

Oh... my reception is fine.

ATT always works for me in Decatur/Downtown. I don't get service at my work, but no cell phone company does for some reason. My gf has Tmoible and gets almost ZERO signal in our house. So, ATT FTW.

Never had a problem with TMobile, and I'll probably be buying the G1.

I have had tons of problems with the service of my phones. We use Tmobile and get NO service at our house. Although the fix for it is they now have Hotspot @ Home and it allows you to use your Wifi to get service on your phone. Its really cool and works great and is cheap ($10/mth for the entire acct). Just make sure you get a good phone cause it makes a world of difference. I bought a Katalyst for my wife and I am using a crappy Nokia and her phone is great but mine sucks fat ballz. I am currently looking for another Katalyst to replace my phone. You can also connect to any Wifi signal and get service with the Hotspot deal. The best part about it though is that any call made on a Wifi signal is FREE. That alone is worth it to me so its kinda hard to switch but I just have to find me a Wifi calling Enabled phone that works for me, lol.
I have never had ATT so I dont know how their service or anything is.

I got ATT and I can't remember a day when I didn't have great service... Even when I'm in the middle of nowhere!

I had tmobile and got rid of them because they are theives and their customer service sucks now...Switched to metro and love it besides the fact they don't have pda's...I picked up a tilt and am switching to ATT because i need a pda and am sick of a "regular phone"

ATT > TMOBILE

I don't like either of em. I have had just about every major cell provider and I say Verizon FTW.

Then if you hate the Iphone, why are you getting one? :screwy: We offer plenty of other devices and PDA's.

I have an AT&T Tilt on Tmobile and I have no problems with service. I do live right next to a cell tower though...but other places the phone(service) works great!

I moved to Gwinnett and changed from T-Mobile to Verizon. T-Mobile is the worst of the big 3 IMO. I would have gone ATT, but I get a bigger discount from Verizon via my employer.

Umm, it was released yesterday for pre-orders of current customers. I believe public sale is on Oct 22nd or 23rd.

AT&T FTW!! since I can drive up the east coast w/out losing signal!! and w/ Verizon I dropped signal quite a few times... and I've never had T-Mobile due to all the horror stories on their billing and crappy service

TMobile is consistently ranked #1 in cell phone customer service.

Yeah in customer service not actual phone service there is a difference other than if they have crappy phone service that might explain for the high numbers in Customer service

Plus the horror stories are from actual people I know and have seen the bills and constant issues they have. Plus I've been happy w/ AT&T/Cingular for over 8 years now :goodjob:

Hopefully T-Mobile will improve their reception problems. The customer service has always been perfect for me though. I know they're being put on a new cell tower that's being built on Collins Hill road, so that should help the L'ville area a lot. Does a better phone really make a difference in what reception you get?

lol.. what a joke comparing ATT to TMOBILe.. Tmobile is a joke and there network is more outdated then a afro in the 80's.

+ Tmobile reminds me of high school kids.

I have been with ATT for 7 years... they have the best service..... I have been on cruises in the middle of the ocean and still able to get service. a month later got the bill and my international roaming ripped me a new one. but they're realaible!

I really want the Touch HD, but I don't believe that it will work on T-Mobile's 3G network. :(

As for getting one, I'll have to wait. As it sits now, it doesn't sync with Exchange and I need that functionality.
