One of my good friends recently picked up a 86' Corolla GTS in very good condition.

He wants to upgrade the suspension asap and get a solid set up.

Fully adjustable, moderately stiffer spring rate.
Use would be for: Spirited Driving/Daily Driving

Total: $1000 or less.

Now I know nothing about older toyota's but I want to find the best suspension set up to recommend to him.

With my car I have KYB AGX with Ground Control coilover spring. It is pretty solid on a Honda.
But, I am not sure if it would be the same for a Ae86 (or even if they manufacture suspension it)

So what do you think is best for the money IA?

32 way adjustable seems like overkill for spirited driving.

Sub-Total(before shipping): $763.95

IMO: coilovers are a waste of money unless you track your car on a regular basis and need the adjustablity(sp) for changing track conditions.

or. you can have overkill, for less money. from a guy that knows his stuff and is local, and has $1000 suspension for half the price, brand new

I'm prolly the guy with the D2 set. I have all kinds of parts for a ae86 project that I have no time to go get, so if your guy needs anything besides the suspension, let me know.

BTW, with any suspension setup in an ae86, its a really good idea to go ahead and get an adjustable panhard as well.
