Was just checkin out a customer and another customer came in to get some tires put on. The other salesperson put his telephone number in the computer and the address was in mississippi(sp?) so I kinda knew right away why he was in GA.
He ended up needing 4 tires really bad but could only afford 2 of the cheapest kind we had so out of nowhere the girl next to him who was in for an oil change said she would buy him the 2 other tires. THe guy started gettin all emotional and they were huggin and he was sayin thank. Made me wish i was able to buy his other 2 tires.

Just wanted to share that little story

I tried talkin to the manager to see if he can get a better deal on them but they cant do it. damn corporate rules. Still that situation made my day to see such generosity even if not on a abig scale it was the thought of it that stood out to me.

that is a great story. i would love to help someone like that.

a guy my mom works with - his entire family is over there and he is headed there to pick some of them up. and on his way he is filling up his excursion with food and supplies to take over to the victims. then once it is empty - he is bringing his family back.

Yeah my mom and I were in lawrenceville today and this family stopped in to chick-fa-la.. This poor lady had 4 kids in her car (which was packed to the brim with liscence plates from louisianna[sp] ) and she got all her kids some food.. and not herself...When the lady behind the counter asked if that was all the woman was like "yeah i dont have much money and I gatta save for gas but I want my kids to eat".. so my mom gave her $10 to get her some food.. I just thought It was kinda cool... My mom even asked her if she needed a place to stay for the night.. but the lady kindly declined and said they were heading up to their family in TN... she thanked my mom again and took our names and numbers..
