Ok, this is the first appearance mod for the Rx-7 I've really done. After 3 months of wheel deals falling through I finally got a set. I'm pretty pleased with the results. Just wondering n opinions, I like them either way, so I'm not looking for "approval" just want to know if you think it's an upgrade.
They're 13X6 with a +15 offset (the offset is perfect for htis car, they sit really flush over the stock 13X5 +20)

Nice wheels. Just clean that rust up and get some center caps.

Yeah I know I need to. Rust sucks, and I think it's gonna be hard to find centercaps that'll account for that bulge in the front wheel hubs.

Luckily my stock center caps fit my Toyota rims perfectly.

Yeah, you are lucky, and htose Toyota wheels look hot. I bought these without center caps and have no idea of the brand. I can measure the diameter of the whole, but the problem is on the read wheels, there is a thin space for where the cap can fit into and on the front there is this little bullet shaped bulge I'd have t get over. I might just pull the wheels, sand the hubs a bit and spray them. Ghetto, but it'd look better than it does now.

I like them... They look good on your car and x3 on the rust!

That could look better. Just make sure the hubs finish is nice before you paint it. I'm a sucker for old school mesh rims.

aww it's sad to hear that they were beyond restoring. These wre hard to find as first gen Rx-7s have an insanely uncommon bolt pattern of 4 by 110 and super short studs.
Finding these babies was hard:
-I got my money stolen on the first set I tried to buy.
-2nd set, the guy was supposed ot send them COD so I wouldn't lose my money,m but after a month he just stopped replying to my PMs
-3rd set I bought of a local guy at zoom fest but after spending hours restoring them, and $70 in paint stripper, paint, clear, and sandpaper, I found out they were 4 by 100
-4th set is what you see here in this thread on my car, the guy who sold me the 4 by 100s gave them to me because of the mistake, he had 2 sets of meshies and forgot which ones came off his old Rx-7.
I am selling the 4 by 100s. 13 by 6 mesh
