1st off IA got f*cked... we were supposed to have a booth and they dropped the ball. They didn't get us the info and then when i finally got a response this morning from them (day of show) they didn't have indoor booth space. so we got our passes and hung out for about an hour.

indoor probably 300-400 cars... hand full of local vendors like batlground, mainstream, etc overall 7/10 event. couple bad ass show cars, about 10 nice vipers and same ole sh!t as usual.

outdoor... :lmao: there were a few tents i guess for SPL and audio sponsors then probably hundreds of RICE... we stayed outside literally 10 secs. overall 4/10.

the event was pretty good - i'm not sure if it was worth entry fee but it was a good show. was it even close to NOPI Nats... NO! More like water downed HIN w/ less cars, no sponsors, and lights were on.

honestly it would of been a great show if they packed the inside w/ vendors + bad ass rides and put the rest outside. i saw more food vendors then car vendors (local shops)

They made it clear there wouldn't be any drifting or racing or anything from everything I have seen them post. If there would have been anything they would have hyped it big time.

Atlanta Motor Speedway, and Silver Dollar, maybe Commerce too all have drag racing events this weekend from what I have read. But none of it has anyhing to do with the "Motorsport" Nationals.

He was probably sitting at the table because he was too drunk to stand! :lmfao:

Glenn preached that same thing for years, and they would not listen, but their main focus was the models, well look at their success, down the drain.

Glad Glenn got the HELL out of there!

judging was a joke. i got 2nd place sport compact honda street to a chevy pickup. i guess i thought the judging would be better than nopi caliber but it wasnt. guy walked to my car looked at my card for the info on it. i walked over to him and he said "i'm done" and left. lol it was deff a joke

its b/c they used the same crew they used for NOPI here - those same people judge/throw those ghetto ass shows in south ga, hooters, etc... they don't know sh!t about imports or judging show cars.

Um. We gave out a lot of cards :) and sold an as.s load of t-shirts and hats. More than any other event we have ever been to (including NOPI Nats). That's the positive for us (totally selfish).

Def should have been a one day show.
Def should not call it Motorsport Nationals if there is no Motorsports
Def needed more vendors

The effort was nice. :) The rest....eh. Less like NOPI (website, models, Mark, etc.), more like something else (anything else). There's my advice.

I think the funniest part was Mark thought Glenn was working, and told Glenn that Mike was looking for him to go look at a car, Glenn looked at him like WTF? Just gives you a clue of how clueless (among other things) Mark was...LMAO

Missed the show myself...moving.

I was wanting to head down and at least support my friends that were trying (even though they all knew I didn't expect it to be much of a success), but alas..it didn't happen.

Sad to hear it was lame.

Sounds like an over-hyped Varsity show.
