how do i have get a loan for a townhome/house?

i havent gotten credit yet i dont think. I have had a credit card for almost a year. I have a job but do i approve for a loan? how does it work?

www.myfico.com if you have had a credit card for the past year you probably have a decent credit score.. your debt to income ratio also comes into play. Its a LOT easier to qualify for a house than anything else.

when i went to buy my home i had to fill out the loan application. i had credit for 2+ years and they still said i should have more in order to buy a house. i have great credit, and i have had 2 car loans when i bought the house (they were already paid off) but they still like more credit.

as long as what credit you have is good, you should be fine. i was easily approved on mine.
