View Full Version : Someone still knows how to make a proper 4x4......Iveco Campagnola

I'm an great fan of the FJ40 Land Cruiser and LR Defender going back to the Series one. I hate "monster truck" setups because they are so useless off road. Stuff like this though is what real 4X4 are made of. Bringing back an Italian name is IVECO with the Campagnola.

Desert Runners are on a higher level. I'm talking about a vehicle that can go anywhere and speed is not always 100% the most important. Not exactly as hard core as a rock crawler.

XJ ftw! I'd like to see if my Jeep could hang with that thing. I think it could. That's nice though EJ, love the old school influence on it.

That thing is sweet. I love the old Land Rover's like they had in Tomb Raider. One of my daddies classmates from USMA had one with over 1,000,000 miles on it.

This isn't an old one but still i love these

Sad they can't be sold in America because they can't pass pedestrian crash tests from that high grill. They are working on a new design that will be able to be sold in the U.S. but i worry it will look very little like the original. That Iveco is not eligible for sale in the U.S. for prolly the same reasons.

Its pretty sweet but probably pretty expensive, at least it would be here in the states. Does it come in a diesel?

The older I get the more I just want to cruise around in a Rubicon or something with some off road ability. A lot of jeep guys are swapping in SRT-4 engines now days. More power, more torque, better fuel mileage.

I'll be honest, im not a big fan of a standard Wrangler unless your sitting behind the wheel, it just feels so right. But once you get some decent tires on it, it is ready.

Any Wrangler/Cherokee/Grand Cherokee is ready for massive amounts of fun with just a little lift and a good set of tires. The Patriot, Liberty, Commander, and Compass however are just complete failures.

I know that the dealership near Gwinnett Place has a 110 but a salesman at the Jaguar dealer right next to them said they aren't selling it.
