which do you perfer? im a mix between the two of them. personally i like a laptop with a desktop wireless mouse and i say "desktop mouse" because i don't know anyone who runs a wireless mouse on a laptop.

I use a laptop in class, which I'm doing now, but much prefer a desktop for at home use.
I had to use my laptop for a few days while my desktop was getting fixed and it sucked.

Both. No home should be without neither.

Well... i'm stuck with a laptop right now, and it works very well with my schedule and what not. Only thing I can't do is hardcore gaming, other than that I'm pretty happy with my laptop.

I have multiples of each, but so far like the portability of the laptop for work
desktop=gaming and performance laptop=mobility and business

Desktop = Processing Power
Laptop = Mobility and convenience.
Can't go without either ones.

I have a beast of a desktop, but there are times I really, REALLY want a laptop... like when I'm stuck in the library at school. It would be really convenient to have a laptop and be able to just quickly look stuff up instead of having to wait for a comp in the lab or whatever.
But I would like a laptop in addition to the desktop. Seeing as I have only one, I definitely prefer a desktop if I choose one or the other. I'm probably gonna look pretty seriously at a laptop in a few months/after Christmas.

Laptop. I have no need for anything more, I don't play games and **** so it does everything I need it to do.

I have my gaming systems for games
better games on a desktop
Crysis Warhead, at 1900x1050 resolution, looks much prettier and plays a lot better than anything on the 360

My laptop performs better than my desktop, Bigger hard drive, more memory, better graphics... All depends on what kind you have.

definitely laptop, i have a semi decent laptop so its not so bad... its more powerful than my desktop- even for gaming, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600
but its so damn portable.. don't use the desktop bc whenever i need something to be on my laptop to take on the go its never there... and vice versa...so i'd rather just choose one to use as a main
