I am using "The General". I pay $56 a month for just the '62 Falcon. I would have gone with Safe Auto but they don't insure anything older than 1970 or something like that.

If you are military or have military in your family see if you can get on USAA, I hear they are super cheap. Thats probably what I will do once my policy expires with teh general.

Geico is not cheap if you are young/have a bad driving record. They do low-risk insurance primarily and have ALWAYS been that way. The cheapest big-name high-risk insurer is Progressive. Great service, decent price, not going to go out of business in six months and leave you with no coverage.

progressive isnt cheap at all. safeauto gave me 150 a month for full coverage progressive was talkin about 330-400 a month for the same policy i got with safe auto. ive been with safe auto for 3-4 years now so im sure they arent going anywhere.

I shopped around for about 3 months before I made the switch... Progressive was the cheapest for me but I didnt go with them due to all the bad reviews they had. Allstate came in next and that is who I chose. My wife and I have three cars 2 of which are full coverage and the other is liability and we are both under 25 and I have an accident and a ticket and we pay 223.10 a month. Safe Auto was by far the most expensive. They quoted me something like 360 a month.

I NEED CHEAP INSURANCE!

My former provider (Unitrin) dropped me because I moved to GA.

I need insurance NOW!

I looked on Safe Auto but comprehensive alone was $1323!!!!! My Unitrin policy was only $700/6 months. Anyone know another decent quality/cheap provider?

TIA.

Call around, get quotes. It's not that hard if you're really intent on saving money, everyone gets different insurance rates for different reasons. I get ridiculously cheap insurance, but my family has been with Liberty Mutual for 30+ years now so you wouldn't get close to what I do.

Don't go with Geico people. I just got screwed by them after 3 years with them. I had 2 cars under Geico and since I got the Fit it was added on and being working with Geico for the past week on the coverage. All of a suddenly they jacked up my premium to $3333 for 6 month.

Once I saw that I called them and was so upset, from $811 for 6 month to $3333 just by adding a car. After this experience with Geico I will report these Mofo's to BBB. 3 years of trust down the drain which I could had kept with another company. Not a single claime on them either. Now I have a week to get new insurance so I am in a jam.

Already PM Carbon-Crash so hopefully he can help but if there is anyone else that can help me then I will give my business to them. Have 3 cars to insure.....but there is a catch.

This policy is for Florida and not Georgia. I am living in Georgia now but all my vehicles are registered in Florida and I do not want to change that.

Pm me or email me if you can help.

why don't you just get in contact with the unitrin direct insurance in GA?? when you move states. you have to get insurance in that state due to different states having different laws. thats why they send you a cancellation letter asking you to get insurance in the new state you're living in.

I'm with USAA and Absolutely love it, but if your not active/inactive military or your parents weren't then your SOL in getting with them

I pay 522 every 6 months, full coverage 250 deductibles, 75/100k protection, roadside service etc...
