Here is what the latest updates are on the 2 pipelines that supply GA with gas... Good news for sure...

The problem started when Hurricane Katrina knocked out power to two pipelines -- the Colonial Pipeline and the Plantation Pipeline -- that feed fuel to Georgia. Colonial announced Thursday that it is now operating at about 40 percent capacity and expected to increase that to 61 percent by day's end.

The pumps are expected to be at about 74 percent capacity by Sunday.

At last report, Pipeline had fuel running at 25 percent capacity. Both expect to be back to normal by next week.

Prices may dip a week or so after the pumps fully get going, But until the oil rigs in the gulf get back online and the refinery's in LA get going, prices will remain high, because it will still be a unstable oil market.

AND NO ITS NOT BUSH'S FAULT ;)

I think its Julio's fault. He works at Race Trac, that must give him the power to jack prices up, I bet him and Bush are teamed up

I will have gas that will last me till next thursday or more as long as i keep playing the grandma game (3k RPM and under)

i'll vouch...saw this on cnn

gas will flow at 60-70% capacity by the weekend. depending on labor day travels ga prices should rebound after the 3 day weekend.

have nuff gas 2 last me a week or 2 and i got it at 2.79 per gallon muahahaha

people keep forgetting we have the port in savannah.
savannah isnt anywhere near low on oil/gas
