not hard at all just took the saftey class and passed it was easy as hell but it took up my whole weekend..... it was well worth it....

What are you going to be looking at for insurance? I want to buy a bike so bad but I don't want to get murdered by insurance every month.

I'm just looking into a 600, most likely CBR. I'm only 18 though, that should be a big factor, I can't picture it being cheap.

not sure but i know i get a discount with gieco or progressive for taking the class....

My parents have had Liberty Mutual for like 30+ years, so we get rediculous insurance prices. I pay 60 a month for my Jeep, which I've never heard of before. I'm sure I'll get a good discount, but I just can't see an 18 year old on a CBR getting a good rate.
