ive always been interested in these, how and where do you sign up and all that good stuff.

EDIT: nevermind i stopped being lazy and did a search. $250 to hold a spot isnt that bad. and neither is the fee considering what all it includes.

I'm not really concerned with it..Jail I am, but tickets not so much. "To run, or NOT to run?...that is the question"

^Maybe, but people run some weird stuff in the Gumball as well the AKA rally to me has always seemed like the more laid back most anyone can run event.

Johnny and I are doing the early bird registration for $250, and they take off an additional $500. So all said and done its like $2750 including the registration. Which isn't bad at all.

As far as Karl's prelude not being able to keep up...it'll be over 500whp by the time of the rally. The car is being fully built in December, and Johnny's Porsche will also be turbocharged, so I don't think we are going to have any issues keeping up with everyone else;)

The trip is going to cost between $3500-$4000 all said and done

Yeah not to mention I don't think the car will be very stable at those speeds. I remember a OG on Honda-tech building a prelude to run in the Gumball. Although his had aftermarket tranny w/ better gearing, cage, big turbo, and aero mods. I can't remember if he made it in time though

His car is daily driven. This isn't the gumball. The aka isn't just for the super rich. Yes there is a Ferrari and yes there are several Porsche's that run, but there are also RSX's, wrx's, evo's, supra's, etc.
