new R1 LE, sooooo hot. marchesini wheels, ohlins suspension, and a cool slipper clutch, truly a factory made racebike.

When will they come out and whats the price on the R6? Im getting a bike in the next 2-3 weeks so as of now Im going with the Kawasaki ZZR 600 but whats the Yamaha price for the 6?

hey brett... let me know about 2 days b4 you wanna get one. i work at a kawasaki dealership. but as for the new r6..... wow, im speachless. i love the new design, i just wish they could take the way the r6's liscense plate is and put it on the r1 too. but thats a sweet looking bike

msrp's/specs will be released on sept 28th... i'm guessing for the 6 about $8499-8799, the 1k about $10999, and the 1K LE $17,999+. but then again the prices will be steep when it's a whole new bike like these, in a couple years the novelty will wear off and they will come down a bit ;)

stick with the ZZR, the R6 isn't a comfy ride around town compared to it.
