does anyone have pics of their diy black housing headlights after a few months. ive noticed every time i see diy black housing the inside of the lenz becoemes foggy and stuff. i did mine and im not very happy with them. so im tinkin i did it wrong but maybe we were never meant to do our own black housings

sorry i wasnt specific. its not foggy from water its foggy from the clear plastic becoming hazed up from i beleive vapors from the paint.
try resealing the housing

im sure paint doesnt release vapors when they're dry...its from improperly resealing the headlights... i've never had a problem and i've done tons of headlights

thats the thing i dont think i let it dry completly. how long did you wait for your headlights to dry before reassembling? and when you put them back together after suing sillicone did you cook them again?

I painted the headlights on my civic about a year ago which is in my sig. Never had any problems.

open them up, wetsand lens... polish with plastX, repaint the housing... wait a day, reseal
