So, i got this in an email from my grandmother, and was hungry, so i tried it. It's as good as any microwave cake, so i figured i'd share. Give it to your woman and tell her to get back in the kitchen :D (and yea, i don't doubt that it's probably a repost of a repost of a repost)

5-minute chocolate mug cake

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
splash of vanilla

Mix the dry ingredients together in a largeish coffee mug, add the egg, mix it in, add the milk and oil and mix them in. Microwave for 3 minutes. Cake!

Anyone try this yet? I don't want to try it in my own microwave, then I might have to clean a mess. Someone try this and post pics of results.

1 full egg for that small amount of ingredients? like 2 eggs is enough for a large cake... 1 for a coffee mug sized cake seems a bit much!

i've tried it a couple times. it didn't make a mess in the microwave, so that's a plus. The end result is pretty good, actually. I don't think it's as light and fluffy as a real cake and that might be because it does have so much egg. But it tastes really good, so.
