Madden '09 Question

So I bought the game last night and started playing a new season. Is there a way to download the current rosters for the season to the game? Or do I have to do what I was doing last night which was releasing players and getting players I knew we signed or resigned from the Free Agency section? That makes it bad because when I release players it will affect my salary cap.

are you on xbox or ps3?? cause i am on xbox live and if there is an update available, it will do it automatically before you play an online game.

madden is waaaay overrated this year. i still cannot believe they released the game with so many bugs in it. have fun getting pissed off at the game because of bullsh*t that should not be happening

as far as the roster downloading when I play online for the first time, how does that work, when I sign into a room to play it will do it? Will it then also update my offline regular season roster as well?

yes...when u go to play an online game, if there is an update it will prompt you at the select team screen. you cannot proceed until you update. this will also carry over to offline games

i havent really noticed anything major besides the usual disconnection when playing online. it is a lot harder to run this year
