I have a 98 civic hatch swapped with B18c1 turboed. The ECU is converted to OBD1 for tuning obviously and it is emissions season for me...

Does anyone have any ideas besides converting this thing closer to stock with an OBD2 ecu, stock injectors and pull the turbo to get this thing to pass?

As long as the ODB scanner is not picking up codes, there shouldn't be a problem with passing emission. They dont' check your tailpipe so you won't have to worry about that. I passed emission with my Supercharged Titan with CATS removed!!!! :D It even has an aftermarket ECU on it.

Why don't you put a scanner on it to see if it will pull any codes?

Problem is that obd2 cars converted to obd1 will not connect w/ data link connector.

pay the guy extra to pass you. i think hondata makes an obd2 s300 now that would probably pass emissions

As long as I dont let the turbo spool up, I should be able to run the OBD2 computer during the data scan for the emissions test and be fine.

Do you think the car will run on an OBD2 computer now?
Is there any difference between B18c OBD1 and OBD2?

it's not an obd2 computer. it's an obd1 with an obd2 connector. it won't pass.

bribing doesnt work on obd2 cars. (ex-emissions inspector checking in.) they would get busted immediately for doing that.
