bad driving. I can admit it. I never learned properly how to get the car off the line. I've trapped up to 110+ with streets, but when I went to slicks I got 1.7 60' but my top end went to **** and hit 101 mph. I never got it perfected and I AM a slow shifter. I dont like to bang my tranny.

Reason why I don't doubt that Thacker was slower than Collins at the time was because I saw their race in person, I was their flagger. Unlike a lot of people here who only saw a video. Thacker out drove Collins that night, but it was clear who's GTO was faster.



Noone would beat me either.....IF I didn't race anybody I KNEW was faster than me. That's not racing. I've yet to see him step up and take on all comers without some kind of excuse. He TALKS like he's some kind of mack daddy racer, yet only races when he thinks he can win for sure. What is that?

bad driving. I can admit it. I never learned properly how to get the car off the line. I've trapped up to 110+ with streets, but when I went to slicks I got 1.7 60' but my top end went to **** and hit 101 mph. I never got it perfected and I AM a slow shifter. I dont like to bang my tranny.
