I tend to change my wheels every year, so I was wondering how often do you change up your rims?

I just bought my first set. They are so expensive i don't know how people change them so often. Are rims for imports cheaper than they are for muscle cars? Because I know that if I had bought mine new they would have been $1500 or so.

what color eg? I actually dont really like those rims, but pair up with the proper color car and the proper drop they may be pimp'd.

please don't get rpf-1, too many cars in atlanta have them already. (b/c Alan already have them)

If I was in the market for rims in the $200 range, I would consider the following: 5-Zigen ProRacer GN+, Gram Lights 57C, Gram Lights 57 Maximum, Enkei JS-M plus others that I can't think of off the top of my head, before rpf-1.

If you buy rims that hold their value, you can just swap around as you see fit.

I went through alot (6) of sets for a few years but think I will be holding on to the SSRs as they are discontinued. If anything I may look for something with a more aggressive offest (+20ish) but also keep the GT7s.

Can't afford to change my G35 wheels often. Everything I change wheels, I lost at least 1-2K. But I'm on my 3rd set in 2.5 yrs. 19" Maya STM to 19" Volk GT-S to 20" Vellano VSU. I think I'm going to stick with Vellano, being a show wheel, then get a set of 19" Work or Volk as beater wheels by then.

Oh, and I'm having 2 sets of wheels for my DD car, 18" Racing Hart M6 for Summer and Konig GT-R for Winter

I doubt I'll ever get a new set for my WRX. I love my 5zigens. The only way I would switch them up is if I end up turning it into a weekend/track car (after graduating and getting another daily), and even in that case I'd likely get the same wheel, just wider :)

when ever I can afford. I don't settle. A lot of guys settle and don't have the funds to buy the rims they really want so they buy the 50-200 dollar sets. I dont get impressed by anyones wheels on here really b/c you can get most of them for under 400 bucks and they all look the same. The rims I want a $1,200 each. Will I get them? HAIL NO b/c I can't afford them. I will settle for a set that cost 1k or TEENY bit above....when i hit the lotto. lol

And wheels arent performance?

He is not considering them performance because it is the one part on the car that is most commonly purchased/swapped out for aesthetic reasons. There should be a little face:palm action going on once you realize what you asked.
