it was hard to find springs that were for 09' so i got some tein springs for 06+... on ebay they cost me around 190$ shipped. if you have 18" on your gti you will have approx 1/2" gap in the rear and 1" in the front after drop. it is a good look i'm sure 19" w/ meaty tires would fill up the rest. :goodjob: (i'll post pix soon)

total and epic failure without pics....
I once did an alignment on a '07 GLI with lowering springs. It looked really well and after I was finished with it, it rode and drove really well. The guy was happy with it. Who knows, that guy might be a member here. I think he was apart of the durtydubs crew.

Looks better than stock, but that front still sits up HIGH. Just bag that shit ;)

Looks good the way it is. My car is too low and the fenders rub. I like cars that look like they can still drive.

thats why i'm somewhat hesitant about cutting b/c rear are scrubbing already; i will wait to see how it looks after my front lip is put on

id leave the rear how it is and just cut about 1 inch off the front to even out the stance. just roll the fenders if you need to.

Sounds like what you are trying to say is "I need a sawzall" That'll fix the coils and the fender scrubbing. :)
I cant blame you, my wagon is lower rear than front since I dropped it before wagon drop springs were available.

Um...are you seemingly forgetting the core of VW stance:
"If you aint rubbin you aint dubbin"
You should have stretched some tire honestly then you can go LOW and not have to worry about it ;)
