I think it was the Jeeps worst launch. you can see Lt1ultraz try and stall it up too high, and it starts to move, so he backs off the gas and then gets back in it.

Stock for stock there's no way a 350z could hang with an srt-8 GC. Awd and way more power adds up regardless of how heavy it is.

I still consider myself to be one bad ****ing ass 6spd driver... and I miss gears, blow launches.

To be perfectly consistent in a decent powered 6spd car is almost impossible.

I just don't understand why you'd stay in throttle has hard as yoù were hitting the rev limiter like that 350zFTW. There's a ton of ways to get traction launching on a dirty road. I mean if its as horrible as you said, why race on a road that bad? Idk bout ýou but I've done a bit of sandy road launches on backroads and I've had a problem or two here and there. Nobodys perfect but if yóur going to race with a setup like yours then ýou need more practice. That's a ~22k car and you can't show me or anyone a reason (performance wise) a fair idea of why anyone should own a 350z.

yeah but in his defense your comparing a car that was built with the idea of a track in mind, not a drag strip vs. a car that has a **** ton of power, doesnt really weigh ALL that much(compared to most SUV's) with a sturdy AWD drivetrain!

I can launch my car man.I lauch a 2100 every time no prob hardly spin at all.I did that first and second run and spun really bad.You can ask anyone there i kicked up alot of dust at them behind me.Than i launched a couple of times after and still could not hook so third run I launched at 1700 witch I have never done before cause thats the only way i couldn spin As you can see on the 3rd race it bogged really bad.Also we were rushed cause every one was scard of the police. I think setting you out 1 car made up for the "bad place" to race BS. If the road is the problem.... then...maybe you and him should get to it again, on the road you pick, for $100 or so. Before you do that, I would take a look at the video and watch the Jeep launch vs the Mustang compared to how he launched vs you.

In fairness, the burnout he did was plenty on those 19" street tires. They weren't going to get any stickier from getting hot... wrong compound. The 17" street tires I ran against Dieslenuts benefited a bit from a small burnout.. but nothing major... he just was a no driving ****stick.

I had a STS turbo installed at Forged the engine blew before making it to the dyno so I decided to take the clutch/fly out till I go big again that way i won't waste it.

Na, we ran up closer to Atlanta on a road that has been ran on for at least 30 years. The road has more VHT on it than your average track... and I see people break rear ends, wheelstand etc all the time on it. It's a bad ass street to run if it wasn't for the smell.
