Do not bother bashing .. it is a waste :goodjob:
But why is it "ef" and not ed or something ? I highly doubt that we have enough ef's to have a squad around here.I am sure it is for just fun/enjoyment or something but really it is like calling the color red .. BLUE.
it does not make any sense.

I completely agree with this cat...
Why ARE we called EF Squad? We're much too big for that. We're more like...EF Squadron, or Company or Battallion or something bigger. Maybe...platoon...
Yeah, actually, I think platoon is right.
I DUB THIS ORGANIZATION... EF PLATOON! BOW YOURSELVES BEFORE LITTLE DARE!

Then you should know about the nazis over there that get offended if you call their ED and EF.

Well, I mean, really, HT is a bigger organization than we ever anticipate to be. Why ask us when you could be asking them?
Our cars are honestly just more commonly known as EFs...as the same goes for EG's, and EK's. So...that being said, why not just go by "EF". In addition, as you're probably well aware, our cars are known as EF's over in Japan, which is the origination of the chassis by Honda. Most people tend to go with "hometown names." For example, how many GA bulldog fans do you know that never attended UGA? It's also not too common you see people changing the EF front end to an ED...rather, the other way around.
It's just more commonly known, and makes more sense to call them ED's instead of EF's. They're the same car, so why should we differentiate EF and ED. Only one name can be chosen...it's just become more common over time to dub it the EF.
Hope that makes sense. There's just too many reasons to call it an EF vs. calling it an ED because honestly, as we all know through common sense, that's what MOST of our cars really are...
Happy motoring!

EF is just the designated nickname for all 88-91 civics. I believe the majority of 88-91 civics and CRX's were called EF's in Japan, kinda spilled over here, even though the majority of our chassis codes don't begin with EF in America. Its still the same car, and its just a lot easier to just call them all EF's.
EDIT - was not paying attention, did not notice the 2nd page. Nicely stated BTL :goodjob: .
