indeed for being deemed "too reliable" and "having unfair weight advantages". Rotary engines are awesome. I wouldn't say > all either, but I think they're under appreciated for what they can do.
To the guy who asked if this was normal or semi normal for rotaries, in a way, cause a rotary running rich pushes more fuel through without burning it up than a rich piston engine.

Yeah I remember reading about that. Something about the rotary not showing any signs of wear after the race. I cant seem to find it right now but didnt they race on like 86 octane as well?

Haha my FC is on the verge of doing that too. That shyt is serious, but yea rotaries are known for running very rich and releasing un-burnt gas out the exhaust then igniting. Its a cool look but not cool at all when this happens. That downward dolphin tail exhaust sounds like the way to go.
