Need Help!!

I'm about to buy a 10" JL W7 with a JL 500 watt 2 channel amp. It's a great deal but have found out that the amp cuts out when you turn the volume up. It's been awhile since I've trouble shooted anything like this and I can't remember what it is. It works fine after you turn it down and back up again. I wanna find out what it is before I buy it. well ive got 2 kenwood 12"s and a 1000 watt kenwood amp. I had it in a jeep and never had one problem cutting out. but now have it in my honda and it cuts out a lot. ive done a few things that seem to fix it but it still happens from time to time but i just fix the ground cable and its fine

It could be a number of things

1. ground cable not properly grounded.
2. Power cable bot strong enough to handle power
3. battery not strong enough or maybe going dead.

try these first and see if it helps

My wiring kit will be a 2 gauge Stinger kit and I have a brand new yellow top battery. So when I get I'll make sure I ground it good. Thanks for the help.
