Where is it? I am going to replace it and the thermostat. Car has 200k miles on it and I should go ahead and replace the 2.

look on the timing belt side of your motor. bout half way down right below the head. Water pump is ran off ur timing belt.

i guess I should change the timing belt too. Never done i. So should I ge a marker and mrk where he cam is so when i put he new belt on I can line it up.

good rule of thumb, change timing belt and water pump every 100k miles.

u have markings on your cam gear as well as your crank pulley u can line up for timing. You need to go grab a Haynes repair manual at Autozone, and start reading. It will asnwer most of your preventative maintance questions

covington butt I work in lawrenceville. Got the top half cover off of he timing belt, then saw ALL the crap I had to take off the get to bottom half. I just gave up.
