i just need something i can drop and go for now, i have a top end from an a6 but needs maching and i dont think i have the time to save and wait for machine shop, the little b.itch scared me last night coming up 985, bucked real hard like it was locked up for a half a second(literally) but did good on the way home just had that one issue, hasnt done it since though. plus the wiring and getting a new ecu i mean if i had the time and funds right now, for sure, i would do it but i get paid WEAKLY (not mispelled) and times are tight and diapers arent going down in price! im ready to say the hell with it and take my chances at pull a part and just go snag a motor from there and cross my fingers....


im actually almost sure that its a valve seal and thats what the leak is, could probably use just a head (still running dpfi) if anyone has just a head lying around but then i will know if it is the head for sure...havent done compression/leakdown lately, i just keep shoving oil in it and praying eveytime i start it to go somewhere. and sorry didnt mean to get off topic of thread...

The good:


Over all the the body is in good condition. I have a full D16A6 sitting in my garage that will come with the car. The car has Nopi#1 coilovers with tokico front shocks , rears sre stock. Fat5's with brand new tires, Hayame exhaust (looks brand new). Amber corner lights, ceramic 4-2-1 header. Rear no name strut bar, aftermarket taillights, aftermarket steering wheels.




The bad:


Dent in pass. fender, primered black, ripped driver seat, gutted(only in the rear), no carpet, dented piece under driver taillight (dont kno what its called), little crack in windshield. Other then that everything is good workin condition.

nah the intermediate shaft on motors with the y1 tranny have about a 1 inch difference than the others. so the axles are different. they are the SiR axles integra's are about 1 inch longer. so to be able to use the integra one's we gotta switch the intermediate shaft...i'm in the same boat :D:goodjob:

It's fried. It's throwing a code that says to pretty much try another ecu to see if my problem continues. It got wet a few months back and I think it's finally fried. Haha

taking this motor out of my 91 EF hatch tomorrow and will have pics then, i was told this is a rebuilt motor with 60k on it but have no papers to prove so...everything is in perfect working order and motor is D15B2, the only things it will be missing is the alternator/plugs and wires and possibly the AC compressor as i have not yet decided to keep it for the built motor or let it go...just put a new VC gasket on it last week along with spark plug grommets and bolt seals, perfect running engine with intake manifold with all the plugs and sensors still intact, compression tests great, no leaks, fresh oil with less than 50miles ago, no smoke! will separate for right price, come and get it 400$ OBO already pending sale!

DPFI harness- 50$
not sure which ECU is in the car but it's obdo and will be for sale 40$

it ran fine, just had a tap that started around 3K RPM's.

FS- I will have a ZC tranny for sale if anyone wants to build a hybrid tranny. The tranny wont go into reverse and has a tough time going into 5th. I think that there is someting slighlty bent in there. But there are all the zc gears and final drive for anyone who wants them. I will be removinng it from my car on saturday so if noone has dibs by then ill post pix. 100$ obo
