no thats good news, that means its seriously underpowered and Nissan left it up to you to mod it to get the power out of it... I like it!

meh, my car has a Mitsubishi turbo on it from the factory. So I guess it's not that uncommon...

As of now it seems pretty clear Nissan doesn't want anyone doing engine work at all.

Yes it is Michael Rutter. (i changed sig)

It is his 2008 Ducati BSBK machine sponsored by the North West 200 race. He uses Ducati's 1198cc and not a 1098cc like the street bike. During the 2008 NW 200 Rutter used the BSBK which revs less than the WSBK engine.
Ducati works machines are labeled RS than the year they were made.

I got you the vids for the 2008 NW200....You like bikes you gotta watch.

lets rename the thread "why ducati owns the word "superbike""

Cause with the 851 they were the first to actually write it on the bike.

A lot of cars use Mitsubishi turbos and waste gates. My Volvo has a 15G for example.

Mitsubishi (The Industrial side of things) is a HUGE company. They make everything from TV's to Turbos and the stuff for all that goes with it. I'm not surprised at all. Nissan doesn't have anything to worry about car-competition wise from Mitsubishi Motor Corporation.

Mitsu makes the new turbos on the newer (i believe 06 up) 9-3 Saabs...holds more stock boost than the Garrett that is in mine. lol and it looks like a Bypass valve rather than a blow off
