ok i just put some different wheels on my car. i went from some 215/40/17 to 195/50/15. i know the lower profile tires have stiffer sidewalls wich make the tires very responsive to any change in direction. now i know alot of honda boys that ACTUALLY take their car to the track run this size tire and the car performs great. so im thinking maybe its just ****ty tires cuz they are some lame brand tires i diddnt even bother to look at them. but this is the biggest profile i ever had on the car. originally it had 205/45/16 on it. im just wondering would i have to go to a bigger wheel with lower pro tires to get that same responsiveness or is there some tires that have a strong sidewall to comp for the larger profile.

I run 205/50/15's on one of my track cars... and 225/55/14's on my other car and they both have pretty firm sidewalls and I haven't noticed any flex... you probably just have sh!tty tires.... you shouldn't have a great deal of sidewall flex on anything 60 series and down decent brand tires unless they are drag radials or something...

oem wheels 205 45 16
then i got some different ones wich were 215 40 17
NOW i have 195 50 15
SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION

lol really theyre like gay ass with square thread, not very performance oriented. its just i was gonna keep the wheels and run that size tire (195/50) or up it to 205/50 cuz the wheels are very light, but if i get all that sidewall flex with any tire i buy in that size (50 series profile) i diddnt wanna keep them. so i guess if i just get some good tires i should be fine right

No, like what brand/line are they? Seems like they're just crappy tires. You need to get something performance oriented if you're expecting a stiff sidewall.
