According to Obama, it's just a tiny country, they're nothing.

Why not.

If they present a credible threat to our safety, then yes. Seeing as I don't think they do I'm gonna go with no for now.

f*ck that. if you honestly think we should invade you should get your head checked.

we are spread too thin as it is, we need to find osama first. we need to get out of iraq first. we need to redeploy our troops across the globe more efficiently first, and most of all we need to fix our country FIRST.

Actually it does, many Economists have proven this.

And no, it'd be absolutely stupid to attack Iran. Far far cry from the terrain of Iraq.

proof? besides the fact that we all know that everyone will never be able to come into unison to do it.....

there would be no reason to attack them. the american people wont be dupped again.
go ahead and let him build nuclear reactors to fuel their country. they even built their own rocket to send tv satelites into space, how many countries do that without the West holding their hand?

anyway there is so many iranians in america and people against attacking them its not even funny. i guarantee you that if america attacks, there will be at least 1 million people holding protest signs right on the steps of the whitehouse.

Would you like proof from the Department of Energy?

(pg 33)

Maybe Nascar appeals to you?

http://www.nascar.com/2006/auto/07/25/tires/

Uniroyal and the Rubber Manufacturers Associan

http://www.uniroyal.com/about/articles/09152005A.html

Michelin, ever heard of them?

http://www.swampfox.ws/node/26318

Plenty has been said by the government as well, under the Bush administration

http://www.gao.gov/htext/d07246r.html

And on a personal note, I recently got my tires changed and inflated.. seeing about a 4mpg increase. I'm sure when you're driving vehicles that struggle to get 20mpg its hard to comprehend efficiency but yes keeping tires inflated in the grand scheme of things makes a huge difference in our dependency on oil.

obama h. christ....i know by inflating your tires and having a proper tune up you can increase your gas mileage, what i want to know is how it would affect the oil markets....im not going to research it as, like i said, i know itll be a cold day in hell when people come together in unison to do something, so it will never happen

its like saying if frogs had wings they wouldnt bump their ass when they hopped....we all know that, but it will never happen, unless obama says it right?

umm in the overall picture it makes cars more fuel efficient therefore to some extent cutting back on gas useage which is directly related to oil....

Israel will get them first.

Agreed. I think if we end up going into Iran, it will be because of something they did to Israel or vice versa.

To take a survey and found out who on IA would be in support of or against invading Iran in our current situation.

What would invading iran solve? We surely don't need any more enemies or wars out in the middle east.

I do not support any attack on IRAN, I think we would get in much deeper than we ever did with IRAQ, and IRAN would put up much more of a fight, and not to mention what that would do to global oil prices, etc.

Actually I voted yes to be an ass, I didnt even read the thread first thinking it had to do with that lame ass article posted earlier.

Either way, if they present a threat, and they do, but not one that needs to be directly addressed by us right now, then I would vote yes. Until then, they dont present a threat to the American public. They do present a threat to our troops, but as of everything I have seen, they are not crossing the border with their own troops, only sending suppies.

Israel does have a valid reason to make in rain steel in Iran, and I think that if we do get involved there it will be because Israel acted first. Iran is not dumb enough to throw the first blow.

I did vote for Bush, but only because he was the lesser of the evils. Both Kerry and Gore would have torn the country apart. The sad fact is that Obama plans to tear it apart also.

All while modern societies that were once Communist now laugh at capitalism as we borrow money from them.
