I see now the Red Cross is taking donations on many news websites for relief help for the hurricane victoms, anyone plan on donating? I plan on it this weekend after I get paid, I think every little bit will help these people.

I wish i could! have always wanted to, i am going to call those numbers and see if there is anything else i can do besides blood and take to them. you have to be a weight limit and i do not meet the needs :( think they allow other donations?

They also take money, The website link and phone number to the red cross is for money donations. I gave money to them when the Tsunami hit

Considering goin down there to help rescue/recover/take care of any wounded animals, bein a vet tech an all.....my work did that in FL, but I couldn't go...so maybe i'll be able to to this one...........

Would be a good idea in theory, but they wont even let residents in any area yet, most areas they say may be a month before they can even get in, so not much we can do to help yet, It just kils me to see what these people are facing and so many have lost everything and now also have no jobs to go to, in order to make a living or support themselves while they are out of work.

i plan on giving some money. i'm too terrified of needles to give blood, and i want to help so i'm going to give what i can.
