agreed

the gsr manifold is crap and it a hassle to work with. Trust me, I used to have a gsr motor. Get a skunk 2 manifold or type r, its worth the hassle

hmm if you have a GSR, motor you wont be able to put b16/itr IM on.. you'll have to look into aftermarket IM made for GSR, AEBS/SKUNK2 your preference

i use a skunk 2 on my gsr head, but make no mistake you can just take off the manifold and take the butterfly plate out and use shorter bolts and 1 of the old gaskets and put it back together and install it.i did this then installed a nos plate system without the butterflys and it worked really well. it ran 7.42 in the 1/8 mile, but i still went with the skunk 2 because im turboed now and i couldnt pass it up for an even swap.

my best bet is to get a chipped ecu and make both of the vtec's kick in @ the same time...my buddy has this on his gsr hatch and it pulls hard!

i think your the idiot. gsr's can be setup to have both vtecs kick in @ once, not both butterflys. go back to learning school before you talk...

remove the vac line from the actuator and plug the line to prevent any vac leaks. that'll keep the iab from closing. you'll need to tune it for that since it'll have too much fuel and not enough in places that the iabs were designed to be opened/closed that won't be controlled anymore. the loss in power/tq down low b/c the intake is flowing more can be tuned out w/ timing.
