Black WRX, North bound I-85

Ok, this is a rant. I am pissed. :2up:

I was heading north bound I-85 in South Carolina, between Exits 27 and 35. Me (silver Evo) and this white BMW (M3? IDK I wasnt behind him) and I are driving spiritedly. Nothing stupid but speeding none the less. Well, as we come up on traffic, we of course slow down, I come up behing a Black WRX (none STI and looked stock) As I approch, I flash the high beams, a universal signal that says, "hey! you are slower, please move over!" Well he doesnt.


Now I am about 2-3 car lengths off him, the BMW is about the same off me and we are in the far left lane doing aprox 70 MPH. The JACK ASS slams his brakes on. Instead of being polite and moving over (enough room for him at his speed, not for me and the BMW to go arround him tho) And right after doing that, he finally moves over into the center lane. Obviously at this point I am upset, and I give the unfriendly finger and a scowling look. :tongue1: And the douche flicks me off and I see he is cussing me out. WTF, I didnt do anything wrong, ya know?!


So if the guy is on here, I would like to say, " :taun: My car is faster and better. :taun: " HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Oh and that you are a douche asswhole. I know Subaru drivers are asses, but I have met a few that weren't. What you did was uncalled for and could have hurt someone. Yeah I was speeding, but technically, you were too.

I realize that having flashed the lights, that it proly angered the driver. I was not street racing, period. My definition of spirited driving is 10-15mph over posted limit.

As in the 1st post said. I couldnt get over, but he could safely. Bobbyfresh, if what you say is true, then you and i are talking about 2 different occurances. As this particular WRX was stock, even down to the stock tail pipes and tips. Sorry, but even in stock form the Evo 8 is quicker than the stock WRX.

I may agree this thread may fail, but it wasnt ment to be epic either.

I agree with you. The problem is that he stayed at 1 speed and wouldnt let enought room to safely go arround him. That is until he jamed the brakes before switching lanes. I wasnt even riding his bumper, i was 2-3 lengths off it.

I flashed as i approched, and flashed only once. I had to wait for him to move because it was not safe for me to go arround. there was a car that I would have had to cut off to do that. So I waited because i didnt want to cause a wreck.

If someone flashes me their high beams while hauling ass toward my rear bumper, I usually slow down and stay in their way as long as possible. That **** pisses me off. Its not my job to get out of the way when you're driving like an *******. Douchebags in Evos and boosted civics do this to me all the time. Its usually followed by a look or a middle finger, much like you described. That just makes me want to follow them home and **** in their hallway.

Re-reading my post, I realize I have a grammer mistake. Talking about Subaru drivers, I mistakingly said that they were asses, and that I have met a few that were. That was suppose to say, "werent" Meaning I have met plenty of them that were fun people to hang with. My mistake, Sorry.

I didnt flash repeatedly, flashed 1 time. I also didnt flash until I saw that he was not going to make any attempt in changing lanes.

I was not street racing, I was driving faster than posted speed limits, I already admitted that.

I did not fly up on his bumper, I closed in until I was 3-4 lengths off, never "tailgating" him.

I was in the far left lane, car in the middle next to me, and I left out that there was one behind me too.

I was joking about the "better, faster car" part. That is why it was followed by "hahaha" or what ever.
