PS3: Ferrari Challange comes out today....anyone else got it yet?

I bought the game from Gamestop and they give you a card that gets you a free 599 Gamestop edition - it looks good though....black with tan interior.

Here is the code for the car....Do it at main menu.

im playing this weird car Ferrari card game and keep losing.

It gives you a specific Ferrari car on one card and your opponents on the other that you cant see. Then you have to pick something on your cars that will be better, more expensive, faster, more powerful, or older than the opponent to win. Kind strange but a good way to learn ferrari models. Kinda like a memory game.

Tiff is a better driver than Jeremy as he used to be a pro racer but i do think it is funny that Tiff who used to work at Top Gear and now is at Fith Gear is in the game while Jeremy isn't "yet" (idk maybe) but look at what it says on the door on this car.

Its no where near as good as GT5P.

I'll keep updating good/bad.

The Good.....

1. Lot of different Ferrari models from 1950's to today
2. Lot of different race tracks from around the World including Spa, Misano, and Monza
3. That Card game. I really like it for some reason. Good knowledge tool.
4. Weather....the game has RAIN! :goodjob:

The Bad.....

1. Im still adjusting to the game play but the game is not as good as the physics in GT5.
2. The loading screens take too long and are not easy to use.
3. The racing itself is ok, but nothing compared to GT5
4. I don't like how the steering wheel looks like it turns soo fast. A little bit unreal.
5. Cars seem to understeer to much. Little weird.


I would say the driving experience in not for from the way it feels in Forza.

It's not bad game overall. As a comparison, i would give GT5P a 8/10 for what it is. FC i will give a 6/10.

If all you play is race games like me, then yeah buy it. But if your more into other games, maybe not. I think you might like it though. I mean, i have never played any racing game or any game in general i enjoyed more than Gran Turismo.

You gotta consider this is not just a manufacture specific game but one on the Ferrari Challenge race series with some other Ferrari models thrown in.

Anyways.....anybody else have a go in the game.

Are you able to Mod the cars far as Suspension/Engine/Braking...etc? I am about to head up to game stop in a bit.
