im just wondering how much your paying for insurance, can you state your age, bike cc, type of bike, and what insurance company you are with. Plus, does the ninja 500 seat 2 more comfortably than the 250

Im 20, and have a 79 Kawasaki Kz400, but its listed as a 440cc on my insurance. Through progressive I pay $247 a year for insurance.

I have State Farm. I'm 23 w/ a 2006 Yamaha R1(1000cc) and I pay $50 a month full coverage.

i with state farm..im 26 got 2006 R6 and i pay 300 a year full coverage...

I'm 20, with progressive. I have a 2006 Suzuki GSXR 600 I pay 140 a month full coverage. I had a 1997 Suzuki GSXR 600 and paid 200 a year.

I would go with progressive. BTW, if you didn't know the R1 is 1,000ccs not 100 (for the guy that posted above in accident.)

Im 24 I have a 97 gsxr 600 and a 03 gsxr 1000 and im with e-surance and pay a little over 300 for a year

Nope because if they are, and do have a bike, it's in the parents name and they pay the insurance, so they have no clue on the cost.

I would never give anyone under 18 a motorcycle. The life expectancy for teenagers on motorcycle is measured in months, not years.

was the price that much different cuz of the year of the bikes or why that big a difference?
