View Full Version : Honda City caught undisguised

Honda's latest City, which is primarily sold overseas in Asian countries, has been outed and things are looking pretty good for the little machine. We really dig the look of the new City, with its front-end clearly derived from newer Hondas like the FCX Clarity. Inside is a neat and tidy dash, instrument cluster and center stack that makes us long for the simple designs from a few years back. Tucked in behind the steering wheel are paddle shifters for the automatic transmission and under the stylishly creased hood is a 120-horse 1.5-liter four cylinder i-VTEC engine, which is also used by the Fit and Jazz models. Based on photos alone, Honda could certainly do worse than to offer this fuel-sipper on U.S. shores.

Haha! That sh1t has more wheel gap than my festiva did lol. They better bring it over. I bet they will look nice lowered with rims and tint, just as the fit does.

The city is much smaller than the civic...think yaris 4-dr/corolla relationship.

This car looks great!

Let me rephrase. The rear looks like honda tried to recreate the 3 series using legos.lol.

Ahh I see. I saw the City in India, but over there it looked huge!
I guess it was just poor perspective perception!

Personally, I think the new Accord and and several other lower-price cars are stealing body lines from BMW.

Looks like $hit and everyone who doesn't agree is just being a Honda fanboy. Take the badge off it and look at like it's a regular car, it is hideous.

I can't even admit that this car could look good to some and bad to some, I look at the over busy front, the waterfall like ledge protruding from under the headlights then twists like an egg noodle and falls off the car into a tiny little dip holding the lower grill in a bizzare cradle like fasion recessed between the little fogs. then there is the 3 section upper grill with a hidious large nose-like protrusion in the middle like a pig smelling something bad. It is a god-awful look all around with absolutely NO saving grace. I think it is the ugliest looking car I have ever seen and I've seen this car:

I'll settle for "agree to disagree" because that was hilarious to read. And had you said it was the ugliest ever, I would have pulled that car on you.

Maybe I'm just a Honda subcompact fanboy, gotta fight...:duel:

Looks like a Yaris sedan if it was only designed with a ruler in the back...and a bad muddle of a Ford Fusion and a Honda Civic up front.

I'm sure I'll see plenty of those running around next time I go to India.

At a second glance..

I don't like the front-grill that surrounds the Honda "H".

If they cleaned that up, it'd be OK...

I'd rather have the current Accord over this, though..

Rear is fine..

Interior looks like typical Honda interior..
