1981 Olds Cutless + 1982 Regal + 6.6 liters of LB7 Duramax diesel power

Diesel Power Article on David Morad's diesel beast (http://www.dieselpowermag.com/features/0711dp_1982_buick_regal/index.html)

With 6.6 liters of Duramax diesel power residing where a turbo'd six-banger should be, David Morad's diesel GN makes more power and gets better fuel economy than the original ever did. The smoothed firewall and custom inner fenders also create the illusion that the engine is floating in a sea of black. Neat.

A GNX is one of my dream cars. My dad says once he retires that's going to be the last car he buys. lol

Um???? was this a "REAL" GNX or a black Grand National. Cause GNX was a Mclaren/G.M. car made only in 1987 and 547 were ever made. Some still sell for over 100K, i really doubt it is a GNX. Go look it is prolly a G.N. or a T Type. Otherwise your neighbor threw tens of thousands of dollers down the toilet.

#359 Ebay buy now was $109,000 (http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/29/ebay-find-of-the-day-1987-buick-gnx-359-9-9-miles-on-the-odo/)

Yea, your neighbor probably used a T-Type or a regular Grand National/Regal. Some came with shtty NA motors, so I could see what he did as being useful lol.

it would be cool and i hope more people start to do it but i'd much rather have a 572 in my Chevy. On the side of the GNX/GN/T-TYPE, yeah that 3.8L over a diesel too. But only because that was a great setup.
